In an intense battle between two of the top girls indoor track programs in the state, McDonogh edged Seton Keough, 139.166-137.5, on Friday night at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex, to win its second IAAM Group Meet of the season.

The Eagles crowned just two individual champions -- Kristen Brown (8.0) in the 55 meter high hurdles and Amanda Kimbers (6.8) in the 55 meter dash -- to go with victories in the 4x200 and 4x800 meter relays.

Erin Brooks of Seton Keough was the top individual performer of the night as she won the long jump, triple jump and 300 meters, while teammate Megan Voorhes won the pole vault.  The Gators also got individual wins from Katie Sacker in the 3200 (12:02.3), Chelsea Tavik in the shut put (34'-5"), Coleen Shea (2:25.6) in the 800.  In addition, the Gators took the 4x400 relay.

Other individual winners included Maryvale Prep's Lacey Schuman, who cleared 5-4 in the high jump; Bryn Mawr's Becky Boulay (1:23.5) in the 500; Notre Dame Prep's Erin Laschinger (5:33.7) in the 1600.
