The Lions of St. Mark's captured their second Class C New England Championship
title in three years on Sunday, as they dominated league-rival, Lawrence
Academy, 62-43, in a packed house at Endicott College. Despite being double and
triple-teamed for most of the game, Erik Murphy ('09) had a game-high 30 points
and was selected the game's Most Valuable Player. Nate Lubick ('10) contributed
13 points, and Russ Braithwaite ('09) put in nine to aid in the victory. The win
was a true team effort, with a variety of players providing key plays on both
ends of the floor.
