CENTER GROVE COMPLETES NORTH SWEEP
The visitors from Center Grove jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. They added another run in the second, and they completed their scoring in the third with two more runs.Your Patriots got on the scoring board in the top of the fourth inning with two runs on one hit, three walks, and a hit batsman. Game two appeared to be more of a game, though the end result was the same for Terre Haute North as they dropped their fourth straight game.
Senior Mark Merrill, junior Jared Eller, and sophomore Parker Fulkerson picked up the lone hits (singles) for the Patriots.
Next up for Terre Haute North (7-11 overall and 3-4 in the MIC) is an away and home series versus cross-town rival Terre Haute South next Thursday (6:00pm) and Friday (7:00pm) nights.
