[5/2/08] The Thomas Jefferson Colonials had a chance to take a lead in the bottom of the first inning when leadoff hitter J. B. Vande Sand walked. With two outs, Beau Pritchett laced a double to notch the Colonials only RBI on the night. Tom Rudelius and J. B. had the only other two hits for the Colonials during the game, both singles. Alex Radcliffe and Tom Woodruff also reached first base by drawing walks and J. B. went three for three on the bases thanks to an error by the second basemen during the third inning. Mason Freedman had a stellar play defensively at third base by back handing a hard shot deep behind the base and gunning down the South Lakes runner at first base. South Lakes scored two runs in the second, four in the fourth, and two in the seventh to tally their eight runs.
