"Shannon has done an outstanding job for our girls' team. She is kind, compassionate, unselfish, and totally dedicated to her teammates. She arrived late in her high school athletic career to the sport of distance running and I would dearly love to keep her around another year. She has only recently begun to actualize her potential. She is extremely easy to coach and pushes her teammates in workouts. She is a wonderful student and an asset to our school community at Potomac Falls. She participates in many extracurricular activities at PFHS. She is active in her church. She radiates a purity and wholesomeness that is truly amazing. She has been a pleasure to know and I have considered it an honor to have coached her."
