The Indiana High School Swim Coaches’ Association has released its second poll for the 2008-09 girls swimming season, and Westfield is a team on the rise. The Shamrocks have gone ShamWOW after swimming upstream all the way from 20th to eighth.

 

Otherwise, there’s not a whole lot of movement after the first official (but sparsely contested) week of the season. The top three schools – Carmel, Hamilton Southeastern, and Center Grove – remain the same, with Homestead swapping spots with Columbus North from fifth to fourth. Dropping out of the poll are Western (11th) and Jay County (55th).
