The Lady Falcons go into spring break still undefeated, despite an overtime scare with the Cavaliers of Princess Anne. The Falcons struck first in the 21st minute when Chloe Russell finished a throw in from Emory Camper past the PA goalkeeper. Russell's goal stood through the end of the first half and mid way through the second half until Princess Anne's Caitlin Bishop tied it up in the 58th minute. The match ended in a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Both teams pressed and had opportunities to go ahead in the first overtime period, but neither team was able to capitalize. Then with less than 3 minutes remaining in the second overtime, Chloe Russell found herself in front of the goal to score the game winner, and the undefeated streak continued. The Lady Falcons are 3-0 in the district and 4-0-2 overall. After spring break, the Falcons will travel to Powhatan Field to meet Eastern Region rivals Maury Commodores. That match will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd beginning at 5:15 p.m.
