Senior pitcher Melanie Mitchell logged second perfect game of the year in 5-0 over Leonardtown on Friday. Rams have allowed one run this season, but will receive test against hard-hitting Northern on Wednesday.

Held serve with 6-1 win over Park View on Thursday and 11-0 victory against Freedom on Friday.

Big rematch against county rival and No. 6 Northern washed out this past Wednesday; capped week with 12-0 over Leonardtown on Saturday.

Highlanders enter the rankings after a three-win week that included 3-2 win over Stone Bridge last Monday and 2-0 win over No. 10 Madison last Wednesday. Capped the week with 4-3 win over Jefferson on Friday.

Shut out by McLean on Wednesday, but rebounded with wins over Woodson and Bishop O'Connell to finish the week strong.
