The Baltimore County Athletic Directors Association recently awarded four $500 scholarships. Each member school was able to nominate one senior male and one senior female athlete for this award.
The award winners had to be seniors, members in good standing on their teams, marked by academic success and have a demonstrated financial need . In addition, the winners must use the scholarship to help defray the expenses of attending a junior or four-year college, or a technical or trade school.
The winners for the 2008-2009 school year were:
Jasamine Fountain – New Town High School
Sadhika Mudunuri – Parkville High School
Adeleke Ibironke – Milford Mill Academy
Leroy Williams – Pataspco High School
