Oak Hill
easily captured the CIC Boys’ All Sports title for the 2008-09 school
year. The award is based on a point
system applied to the finish for each team in the CIC standings for any given
sport.
The Golden
Eagles amassed 54 points in the competition, paced by first place finishes in
five sports during the year. They won conference titles in cross country,
football, basketball, wrestling, and track.
Mississinewa
was second in the competition with 43.5 points, followed by Blackford with 40.5
points. Eastbrook finished fourth with 35. The lower division found very close
standings. Frankton claimed fifth with 28 points edging Alexandria who ended
with 27-5. Madison-Grant was seventh with 26.5 points and Elwod finished at the
bottom with 26.
