Jake Mayers had yet another stellar campaign, leading Hanover to heights it hadn’t seen before, the state Group AAA final.
The pitcher thoroughly dominated the district and every other opponent he faced on the mound.
Mayers was also in the middle of a juggernaut of a batting lineup, earning second-team all-state honors.
Richmond should be very excited to land one of the state’s best.
