Austin Kilbourne was an offensive machine for Matoaca.
The junior outfielder and pitcher slugged his way to all-DigitalSports honors.
Every game it seemed like Kilbourne had two hits, many doubles and some home runs, and RBI.
But shutting the door on games may have been where he was most effective.
Coach Fred Stoots brought the first-team all-Central District and all-region pick in to save games, and some resembled his four-out, three-K performance in a 5-3 win over Lee-Davis in the middle of the year.
