Here is your Hoosier Crossroads Conference daily scoreboard for June 2

McCutcheon Regional
McCutcheon 5, Westfield 3 - The Mavericks advance to the Lafayette Jefferson Semistate on June 6 at Loeb Stadium to play either #5 Crown Point or #15 Lake Central at 1:00 P.M. (Check back later for a story with audio from the McCutcheon/Westfield game!)

Boys Golf
Martinsville Sectional (Martinsville Golf Club) - Here are the HCC team results from this sectional: #1 Avon-1st (284) and Brownsburg-5th (318). Avon's Ronnie Harris was the sectional medalist with a 67. The entire Avon team advances to the Center Grove Regional to be played June 5 at Hickory Stick Golf Club at 8:00 A.M. Noblesville Sectional (Fox Prairie Golf Club) - Here are the HCC team results from this sectional: #13 Hamilton Southeastern-2nd (307), #15 Noblesville-3rd (316), Westfield-4th (316), and Fishers-5th (320). #11 Carmel won the sectional with a score of 306. However, HSE and Noblesville both advanced as teams to the Muncie Central Regional to be held June 6 at The Players Club at 9:00 A.M. Incidentally, Noblesville took the third and final regional qualifying spot over Westfield because the Millers fifth-player had a lower score than did Westfield's. Alex Walker, who shot a 72 to finish second at the sectional, does however get to represent Westfield at the regional as an individual.
