(2) CBA 7, (18) Notre Dame 1: Nick Spagnole scored twice in a 29-second span during the first period as the Colts opened up a 4-1 lead on their way to a win over the Irish in the first round of the NJSIAA Non-Public Tournament. Bob Deatrick and Trevor van Riemsdyk also scored twice for CBA, which outshot Notre Dame 36-13. The Colts will play Don Bosco Prep in the quarterfinals at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Codey Arena in West Orange.

(8) Brick Memorial 4, (9) Hillsborough 2: Anthony Lobianco's power-play goal at 2:11 of the third period broke a 2-2 tie and sent the Mustangs to victory over the Raiders in the NJSIAA Public A Tournament Round of 16. Erik Talty had two goals and an assist, including an empty-net goal, while Jon Bartolomei also scored for Brick Memorial. Thomas Lindquist assisted on two goals and goaltender Mike Vincent stopped 21 of 23 shots. The Mustangs will face No. 17-seeded Steinert in the quarterfinals at 8 p.m. on Monday at Mennen Arena in Morris Township.

(12) Wall 3, (5) Chatham 0: Jack Gabuzda, Tim Margadonna and Rob Calabro all scored goals for the Crimson Knights to make a great effort by goaltender Eric Stohrer (32 saves) hold up in a victory over the Cougars during the NJSIAA Public B Tournament Round of 16. Wall will now face No. 4 Jefferson in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Mennen Arena.
