Girls 400m Hurdles

      Jade Wilson, a junior from Neptune, took third place in the 400m hurdles Friday evening with a time of 1:03.15. The first place finish was taken by junior Julie Alexander of Hopewell Valley with 1:00.69. 

Girls 100m Hurdles

      Junior Ashley Porterfield from Neptune finished third with a time of 14.64, while fellow junior teammate Jade Wilson came in right behind her for fourth place with 14.94. 

Girls Javelin Throw

      Senior Blair Hassell of Freehold Boro placed third in the javelin with a mark of 119-04. Tara Miluszewski, a senior from Hightstown took first with 125-05. 

Girls High Jump

      Junior Hannah Boyce of Ocean Township, took home a second place finish with a jump of 5-06.00. Magan Kustera, a sophomore from West Deptford, won first place after clearing the same height in fewer attempts. 

Boys 100m Dash

      Junior Michael Peavy of Neptune took home second place with 10.83 while freshman teammate placed third with 11.04. Neither was able to catch senior Robert Page of Kingsway, who captured first with 10.64 in the event. 

Boys 400m Dash

      Neptune represented the Shore Conference as junior Tyquan Brown earned himself a fourth place finish with a time of 49.31. Robert Page took home first place for Kingsway again with 48.67. 

Boys 200m Dash

      Senior Damier Johnson of Long Branch took second place with a time of 21.88, narrowing beating out fellow Shore Conference rival junior Michael Peavy of Neptune, who placed third with 21.92. Freshman Koran McDaniel of Neptune place fifth with 22.01, but it was Damian Miles, a senior from Teaneck, who captured first with 21.57. 

Boys Discus Throw

      James Plummer, a senior from Central Regional, took home second place with a throw of 173-10, coming up just short of Chris Pantale of Wayne valley, who finished first with 176-11. 

Boys Pole Volt

      Senior Steve Casagrand of Central Regional tied for sixth place with three other athletes, all of whom cleared 13-00.00. Eddie Zubrzycki, a junior from Highland Regional cleared 14-06.00, earning him first place honors.
