The Nike SPARQ Tour in Richmond continued Tuesday at Atlee High School.

Atlee, Lee-Davis, Hanover and West Point all made appearances. But it was one player from Deep Run High that tore up the event - Antone Exum.

The heavily-recruited DB-QB recorded a 100.47 rating, putting him in the top five percent nationally.

"I didn't expect to score in the hundreds," the 6-1, 190-pounder said. "I know my vertical is down, I'm working on that. But all of the other scores, I don't know. I've just been working hard at Velocity with Shane [Sykes] and their guys."

Exum ran a blistering 4.54 40-yard dash, threw the medicine ball over 37 feet, jumped over 31 inches on his vertical and completed a 4.31 time in the shuttle.

His score was 17 points higher than anyone else's.

Hanover's Steven Fogleman was second with an 83.52, which is nothing to sneeze at. His effort was highlighted by a 4.69 40 and a 33-inch vertical.

"We're all working hard up in the weight room at Hanover," the Hawks' star safety said. "Last year we didn't do to great in this. We're really not focused on this. But I did pretty good today. Better than I thought I would."

So did Hanover's quarterback Josh Wells. The 6-5 gunslinger had a 79.23 rating, including a 40-foot powerball throw.

Some of Lee-Davis' football players got to get together outside the L-D campus as former Highland Springs defensive coordinator Jason Meade takes over.

Tucker Walton, Dustin Robbins, Justin Becker, Brad Jones and basketball player T.J. Harvey are some of the Confederates that performed well.

The SPARQ truck will continue to ride around town. There are two dates left, open to all:

* Thursday, May 8, 4:30 p.m. at Cameron Field in Petersburg
* Friday, May 9, 2 p.m. at Manchester
