Hayley Stough, Mills Godwin Eagles
Field hockey is still new at Mills Godwin but Hayley Stough already looks like a veteran.
Only a sophomore Stough scored 33 goals this season for the schools' two-year old program, on the way to earning an honorable mention for the all-state team.
"Hayley can accelerate and has unbelievable stick work," Mills Godwin coach Paige Whitten said. "But most of all she has that drive towards the goal and she is not satisfied until she has one or two or three."
The forward led the Eagles to the Central Region quarterfinals where they fell to eventual region champion Thomas Dale 3-1.
