Meghann Forshey, Deep Run Wildcats

Meghann Forshey won a state championship as a sophomore with Deep Run but that wasn't good enough for the 6-0 middle hitter.

The junior decided early that her ultimate goal was to win states again and her powerful spikes, incredible digs and tough net play were an intricate part to the Wildcats' repeat.

Forshey will return next season as a veteran leader on a Deep Run (24-5) team that is only losing one player and was able to roll through the regular season and region and state tournaments.

She was named to the Central Region second team as she totaled 299 kills, 212 digs, 47 aces and 30 blocks on the season.
