Tyler Schleinkofer, Monacan
If you watched Tyler Schleinkofer play volleyball you might start to believe that setting is an art form.

His pinpoint sets led to hundreds of kills for his Monacan teammates this past season.

And just when you thought he was about to set up another one of his teammates, the 6-1 senior would surprise you as he very quickly placed the ball over the net for a point.

This is of course only one part of Schleinkofer's game as he is more then capable of coming up with a huge kill, block or dig during the match.

His intensity and passion on the court led the Chiefs (21-5) to the Dominion District regular season and tournament titles and to the Central Region championship match in which Monacan lost to Thomas Dale, the eventual state Group AAA champion.

Schleinkofer and Monacan's season came to end when the Chiefs fell to Frank Cox 3-1 in the state semifinals. The first team all-state selection finished the season with 469 assists, 164 kills, 136 digs, 57 blocks and 44 aces.
