Beattey has big night, Bengals improve to 2-0.

Collin Beattey had 20 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four blocks to lead the Bengals to a 63-42 victory over the B-Ballers in ML Summer Basketball League action at the Annapolis Boys & Girls Club on Wednesday night.

The Bengals (Duval) improve to 2-0; the B-Ballers (Poly) fall to 0-2.

Brad Bald scored 20 points to lift Team Semper Fi (Severna Park) to a 44-26 win over the Bays (Broadneck). Team Semper Fi improved to 1-1 while the Bays (1-1) got six points from Trae Byes.

Ben Montgomery led the Admirals (Severn) with 12 points en route to a 41-32 win over the Knights (Parkville). The Admirals have won two straight to start the season and the Knights fell to 0-2.

Corey Thomas notched a team-high 19 points to lead the Patriots (Friendly) to a 59-26 victory over the Friars (Curley). The Patriots are now 1-0; the Friars fell to 0-1.

In Tuesday night's action, Gunthers (Annapolis) nipped the Eagles (AACS), 57-56. The Cavaliers (Spalding) took the Colts (Coolidge), 53-47. The Blue (City College) got by Southern Md. (Thomas Stone), 34-26. The Rough Riders (Roosevelt) topped the Saints (St. Mary's), 52-47.

On Monday, Trae Byes had 20 points and the Bays (Broadneck) edged the Saints (St. Mary's) in the league's debut game, 52-48. The Bengals (Duval) dumped Semper Fi (Severna Park), 56-32. The Admirals (Severn) got by the B-Ballers (Poly), 31-29. The Rough Riders (Roosevelt) topped the Knights (Parkville) in the nightcap, 48-42.
