The Campbell Sabers came back from being behind 3-0 going into the 3rd inning to defeat the Moanalua Menehune 8-7 in the OIA baseball playoffs. The Sabers (8-5) will travel to the Windward side to play #1 East Seed Kailua on Thursday.
Keanu Kapana went 2 for 2 with 2 RBI to lead the host Sabers. As the starting pitcher, he was relieved by Charles Kaalekahi in the 2nd inning. Kaalekahi pitched solid relief going in to the 7th inning. He got the victory.
Moanalua's Reid Matsumoto had a monster game at the plate in the losing effort. He went 3 for 3 including a homerun aned scored 3 runs.
A total of 21 hits were tallied in this game.
