BRENDAN CALLAGHAN, SR., RED BANK CATHOLIC

One of the most versatile players in the Shore Conference, Callaghan helped Red Bank Catholic to its most successful season in program history. The senior middie, who transferred to RBC from Maryland for his sophomore year, scored 27 goals and 19 assists for 46 points. He was also a solid face-off man and did great work on clears in the defensive end. When RBC hosted and won its first NJSIAA state playoff game, Callaghan scored four goals and added an assist in a 16-12 win over St. Peter's Prep. He also played in the SCLCA all-star game and won the hardest shot contest at 98 mph along with the game MVP. Callaghan will head back to his roots in Maryland to play lacrosse at Washington College.
