MATT RYAN, JR., RED BANK CATHOLIC

     An integral part of Red Bank Catholic's banner season, Ryan's numbers put him at or near the top of each goaltending category. He led the Shore Conference in saves with 275 and was sixth in the Shore with a .676 save percentage. He delivered some huge performances in the Shore Conference Tournament, stopping 19 shots in a win over Rumson-Fair Haven in the semifinals and then making 22 saves in the final against CBA. The Caseys hosted and won their first NJSIAA state playoff game and Ryan was outstanding, making 12 saves in a 16-12 win over St. Peter's Prep. He also made 10 saves against Delbarton. His play in net also helped the Caseys earn a share of the Class A Central division title.
