LYNDSEY PeQUEEN, JR., RHP, TOMS RIVER EAST
Last season Lyndsey PeQueen did it with her arm. This season she did it with her bat. PeQueen, the DigitalSports Shore Conference Offensive Player of the Year, is still one of the premier pitchers in the Shore Conference, but this season she dominated at the plate for the Class A South and Shore Conference Tournament champion Raiders. She batted .488 with six home runs and 42 RBI. Her home run total tied her for the conference lead and her 42 RBI were tops in the Shore. She also led the Shore with 12 doubles and had a .585 on-base percentage and an .878 slugging percentage. In the circle, PeQueen went 29-2 with 0.81 ERA and 298 strikeouts as the Raiders (30-2) became the first Shore Conference team with 30 game in back-to-back seasons.
