Cline stood tall in the circle, at the plate and as an emotional leader for the Seraphs in the most successful season in program history. She pitched to a 21-4 record with a 0.68 earned run average and 205 strikeouts for the Class B Central, NJSIAA Non-Public South B, and overall Non-Public B champions. The sectional and group titles Mater Dei captured were the first in school history. Clilne had plenty of marvelous moments during the season including tossing a 1-0 shutout versus Wall in the Monmouth County Tournament semifinals and a 1-0 shutout of St. Joseph-Hammonton, which was ranked No. 1 in the state at the time, in the Non-Public South B final. She had 12 shutouts, including her 10-inning one-hitter against St. Joseph. She knocked in 22 runs at the plate, including five in the Non-Public B final. Her college plans are undecided.
