Travis Lane will play football at Hampden-Sydney in the fall. He has yet to decide if he wants to play baseball there.
Travis Lane makes things happen.
In 15 of Mills Godwin's 24 games this past season the
Eagles scored in the first inning. That was thanks in large part to Lane getting on base and being drove in by fellow all-DigitalSports baseball player
Reed Gragnani.
At one point of the season the senior outfielder went on a streak of 15 for 18 at the plate.
Lane finished the year with a .463 batting average with 16 RBI, five home runs and ten stolen bases.
First-team all-Central Region and all-Colonial District, he helped Mills Godwin win the district regular season title and advance to the region semifinals where they fell to Cosby.
An all-around athlete, Lane will attend Hampden-Sydney this fall where he will play football.
