The Soccer Association of Columbia/Howard County (SAC HC) is a federally tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that is operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, including but not limited to, fostering and encouraging youth participation in amateur soccer.
The Association is governed by a Board of Directors. Board Officers are elected for two year terms. Vice Presidents are elected for 1 year terms. Elections are held in June at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Working with the Board are numerous committees - Executive, Recreational, Travel, Finance, Volunteer and Property Management which manage the activities of the association. An Emeritus Program exists to utilize the expertise of former Board and other volunteers.

Age Group Coordinators (AGCs) are volunteer non-Board members who are elected annually by coaches in each age and gender group. They work with the Director of Coaching - Recreation Programs and Vice President - Recreation Programs to select coaches in each age/gender group as well as establish recreational teams. This Recreational Committee meets at least 8 times a year to administer the Recreation Programs in accordance with all SAC HC rules, policies and procedures.
Parents are encouraged to email the appropriate AGC concerning issues and concerns about matters impacting players in their age/gender group.
2008-2009 Age Group Coordinators (AGCs)
Clinic District Coordinators (U5 and U6 age groups) are volunteer non-Board members who are appointed by the Vice President - Clinic Programs. Each coordinator generally serves for one year (fall and spring season) and is responsible for administering the program in the district to which he/she is assigned.
