Punahou Wins ILH Title

The Buff N Blu completed a terrific 2nd half turn around to their ILH season.  The season culminated with a 2nd consecutive victory over St Louis Saturday morning for the ILH Baseball Championship, 11-7, at Ala Wai Field.

St Louis won the regular season title.  Punahou claimed the 2nd round Tournament Title on Thursday defeating the Crusaders.  By rule, if the regular season champions and tournament champion are different teams, both would play for the outright ILH Championship.

It will be interesting to see which team will get the higher seed and 1st round bye in next week's HHSAA Baseball State Tournament which begins on Wednesday, May 7.
