Porzel was Good Counsel's spark all season.

The quick 5-feet-8-inch senior tailback rushed for 1,057 yards on the season and scored 19 touchdowns, including three in the first quarter in Good Counsel's regular season win over DeMatha on ESPN2.

He was adept at running outside but could also gut out yards between the tackles. But his explosiveness was his greatest asset.

Porzel will play for the University of Maryland next season after helping lead the Falcons to the WCAC championship game every year since being at Good Counsel.
