What College Coaches Have to Say
about
the
Mid-Atlantic High School Baseball Classic
“Crab Claw Classic”
“The Mid-Atlantic Showcase has
developed into one of the best showcases on the east coast. Year after year the
caliber of player is exceptionally high, making it a must attend for players,
coaches, and scouts."
Jeff Palumbo,
Assistant Coach, George Mason University
"I have been to many
showcases and I have found that the Mid-Atlantic Showcase will give college
coaches a look at quality players that fit all programs. It is well organized
and attended by many top prospects on the east coast. Any coach who
attends will be satisfied. It is at the top of our list."
Barry Davis, Head Baseball Coach, Rider University
"The Mid-Atlantic Showcase
has grown into one of the Top showcases on the east coast and continues draw
premier players from our region. Lou's primary objective is exposure for
young athletes and this event certainly gives athletes a tremendous opportunity
to showcase their abilities to college and pro
scouts."
Terry Rupp, Head Baseball Coach,
University of Maryland
"I enjoy attending the Mid-Atlantic
Showcase every year because I know I am going to see quality athletes at every
position. The organization of the event combined with the talent on the
field makes it an easy choice for college coaches to attend this
showcase. I look forward to continuing to sign players out of this
event"
Casey Fahy, Assistant Coach, Temple University
"The Mid-Atlantic
Showcase is a "goldmine" of high school prospects. Any coach can
fulfill his needs in one weekend."
Craig Antush, Assistant Baseball
Coach, Youngstown State University
"The Mid-Atlantic Showcase had a significant number of
Division I prospects and of the 5 players we signed in the early signing period
4 were at this showcase. Certainly the number one showcase in Maryland and
rapidly becoming one of the top showcases in the Mid-Atlantic
area."
Mike Gottlieb, Head Baseball
Coach, Towson University
"The Mid-Atlantic Showcase
is one of the premier events in perhaps the busiest part of the baseball
recruiting season. Lou Holcomb does a tremendous job, not only in bringing
the top players together, but also knowing the particular needs of the many
college programs who deal with him on a regular basis. This event
provides for us a terrific opportunity to identify the best talent in the
area."
Greg
Manco, Assistant Coach, Saint Joseph's University (PA)
“Awesome! This showcase is
filled with exactly what we are looking for, motivated young men. Year in
and year out Lou is running kids out there that have the talent to play the
game and have a respect for the educational side of this whole thing. Lou
runs a first class operation that our program looks forward to being involved
with for a long time.”
