As the regular-season draws near, and the postseason playoffs loom, DigitalSports is gearing up to cover all of the year-ending action.

The matchups for playoffs in the Interstate Atheltic Conference, featuring league-leading Georgetown Prep, and the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference, whose favorite is DeMatha, are in the works.

An interesting, nonleague matchup on Tuesday, however, features Georgetown Prep visiting unbeaten, 15th-ranked Urbana of Frederick County.

In Anne Arundel County, 19th-ranked defending county and Class 4A-3A state champion Severna Park looks to repeat its regular-season win over South River in their league final game on Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday, unbeaten 10th-ranked Glenelg, last year's Class 3A-2A state champ, looks to earn the Howard County League title opposite upstar Marriotts Ridge (11-2), which is in only its fourth year as a program.

Baltimore County's final, on Tuesday, features 16th-ranked Dulaney looking to repeat its regular-season, 9-5 victory at 18th-ranked Catonsville, which has won nine consecutive games since losing to the Lions.

In the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association's B Conference, a showdown looms on Tuesday as 17th-ranked, defending league champion Archbishop Curley (12-1) travels to John Carroll for a rematch of the visiting Friars' earlier 5-3 victory over the Patriots (9-1).

Several key games this week will determine next week's playoff field for the MIAA's A Conference,  whose standings and games are listed below.

The teams who finish the 10-game, regular-season with the best record in the league will qualify for the postseason, with the top two squads earning first-round byes.

No. 2-ranked Loyola is the defending MIAA A Conference champ, but lost its matchup opposite top-ranked Gilman by 17-7.
