Playing amongst the top high school seniors in the nation, all bound for big time college basketball programs and perhaps beyond, Towson Catholic's Donte Greene proved he belonged with the elite during a strong 17 minute performance last night at the McDonald's All-American basketball game, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Before a national television audience, and more than 11,000 fans at Freedom Hall, Greene scored 10 points by going 4-of-7 from the field, including one three-pointer, and hitting 1-of-2 free throws.  The 6'-10" University of Syracuse recruit also had two rebounds and an assist, as well as a rim rattling two-handed slam.

Greene's East squad fell to the West, 114-112, but the final score was hardly relevant.

Next, Greene will travel to New York, on April 21, to play with many of the same players in the Jordan Brand All-American Game at Madison Square Garden.
