Terre Haute North hit four home runs to power past host Riverton Parke 13-0 Monday night.
After a scoreless first inning, Jared Eller got the Patriots on the scoreboard with a solo home run to straight-away center field.
North broke the game open with a 5-run 3rd inning.
Andrew Bledsoe led off the 3rd with a single and scored on Michael Eberle's 2-run homer. Mark Merrill made it back-to-back home runs blasting a solo shot to make the score 4-0.
North would send 7 more batters to the plate in the inning pushing across two more runs on only one hit and 2 RP errors.
North added 4 more runs in the 4th inning.
Eberle started the inning with his second home run of the game. After an out the Patriots got four consecutive hits with Brandon Dorsett knocking in 2 runs with a double and Keaton Sumner adding an RBI double of his own.
North scored 3 more runs in the 5th inning on J.T. Baiey's RBI double, another RBI single by Dorsett, and Dougie Collett's RBI HBP.
The Panthers were held in check all night by North starting pitcher Kyle Bush (2-1).
Bush went 5 innings allowing only 2 hits, one walk, and one HBP. He struck out the side in the first and second innings and finsihed with 7 K's in the game.
Riverton Parke's only hits were a first inning infield single by Tyler Yando and a 4th inning single by Brett Brown,
Riverton Parke falls to 0-6 on the season.
The Panthers will travel to Seeger for a WRC doubleheader on Saturday, April 12 starting at 10:00 am.
