CHANTILLY:  Eastern Region fans looking to drive or fly up to Chantilly this weekend, please be advised. 

Due to heavy rain accumulations caused by Tuesday and Wednesday thunderstorms in the DC Metro Area, combined with the anticipation of more rain today and Friday, the 2009 Virginia High School League Group AAA Spring Sports Jubilee has been postponed a day. 

The Jubilee, home to this year's AAA State Championships for soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and softball, is still slated to take place at Westfield High School.  The State Soccer Semifinals, originally slated for tomorrow, will now begin at the same starting times on SATURDAY, June 6, and the championship games will now be played on SUNDAY, June 7.

The National Weather Service issued a flood watch earlier this morning for most locales in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland through Friday.  Additional rain is expected through Friday evening, but the forecast currently calls for sunny skies Saturday and Sunday with temperatures between the upper-70's and lower-80's.
