With the Baltimore City Tournament championships coming up in a few weeks, Edmondson's wrestling team is gearing up for the stretch run.
Although the Red Storm fell short of qualifying for next weekend's Class 2A-1A North Regional Dual Meet Tournament, they will dedicate that time toward preperation for the city, regional and Class 2A-1A state tournaments.
Among the Red Storm's top wrestlers is Chance McCree, who looks to improve on last year's third-place regional finish as well as his 1-2 mark at the state tournament.
McCree, a junior, went 12-5 last season.
The following is a look at the accomplishments of the Red Storm's wrestling program, whose second-year coach, Dominic West, is believed to be the youngest to have guided a team to the city tournament title.
