The Hereford Bulls of coach Carl Runk should be a factor in Baltimore County's Division I, but there are some concerns the coach has for the team's development.
"Offensively, we lost the first two midfields from last year, and the top scoring player in Dixon Green. This a sensative area and will demand a great deal of attention," Runk said.
"Progess will
determine any success we have," Runk said. "Defensively,
this is probably our most experienced area.
Tyler Brown will give us the leadership that
will be needed
throughtout the
season."
Brown quarterbacked the Bulls' Class 3A state runner-up football team last fall, of which Nick DiPaola and D.J. Wacker were members.
"At the stopper position, Ben
Slechta returns to direct our defensive efforts.
We will depend a great
deal on youngsters moving up from a
successful junior varsity team," Runk said. "The work ethic is not lacking with this group. The attitude of the team is highly positive."
