Senior right hander Jonathan Cleary won his second game of the year without a loss after tossing a no-hit, 12-0 shutout opposite Baltimore City League rival Carver on Wednesday.
The Engineers improved to 2-0 in league play, and, 3-2 overall.
"Jonathan had good stuff today. He was able to keep hitters off balance with his
curve ball and changeup," said Engineers' coach Corey Goodwin. "Jonathan has been a pleasant surprise for the Engineers
in his first year."
Cleary also received help from senior first baseman Rob
Watkins, who nailed two home runs and finished with three RBIs.
