Joe Markiewicz won for the fifth time in seven starts, giving up one earned run in three innings of work on the way to Wednesday's 14-2 victory over Baltimore County League rival Western Tech.


Offensively, for the Knights, Kevin Schmidt had a three-run triple among his two hits, and finished with four RBIs. The Knights totaled seven hits overall, rising to 10-2.

The Knights also received two hits from Greg Myers, who nailed a solo home run. Mike Conneely contributed a double for the Knights, who play host to Overlea on Friday.
