Ashburn (Apr. 27, 2009) - Michael Prince, a rare 3-sport standout, was given his due Monday as Stone Bridge High School celebrated his plans to play football next season at Division I-AA James Madison.

Prince, who has been a three-year varsity baseball, basketball and football player, has accpeted preferred walk-on status at the Harrisonburg school, where he will room next year with current teammate, running back Daniel Allen.

It was a special moment for Prince and Bulldog football coach Mickey Thompson, whose twin boys Zach and Patrick, grew up in Ashburn playing youth sports with Prince. Together the trio helped lead Stone Bridge to a AAA Divison 5 state title in 2007 as well as a run to the state semifinals in 2008.
