The host Garrison Forest indoor soccer team defeated Beth Tfiloh 6-1 at the DuBurns Center yesterday to win the season opener.

Whitney Williams and Stefanie Mueller each scored two goals for the Grizzlies, with Mueller added an assist.  Ginny Peters Rodbell and Shelby Cohen both scored a goal.

Garrison Forest took a 2-0 lead into half.  Goalie Christine Knauss stopped 12 shots to keep the Grizzlies ahead.

Jenna Singer scored the lone goal for Beth Tfiloh and Molly Himmelrich stopped seven shots in goal.
