South Lakes (2-1) at Marshall (0-3)
The Statesmen have won the last three games in this series, but the Seahawks owned a seven-game streak before that, dating back to 1999.

The team with the better record is only 5-3 in that span -- twice they met with the same overall record.

Last year, Marshall beat South Lakes, 14-12, in Reston, but the Seahawks held a 253-237 advantage in total yards.

They were 0-for-2 on PATs.

Last week, Marshall struggled to slow the Robinson rushing attack, allowing 311 yards on the ground. This week, it faces a lighter, more athletic version in South Lakes, one that features four running backs instead of two.

The Statesmen need to do better getting the ball out of the hands of the Seahawks' offense than they did with the Rams if they are to have a chance at their first win.

But this, remember, is the same South Lakes team that was four points from beating Herndon last week.
