After a long preseason filled with recent bad weather the Golf team kick off the 2009 season by hosting the Oxford Blackhawks.  Facing mild weather and first match jitters the 6 golfers from Delhi underwhelmed the Blackhawks.  Jacob Bugge returning for his senior year, posted a 55 on the front 9 of the Delhi College Golf Course.  Zach Newkerk who came back from baseball posted the lowest score for Delhi carding a 51.  Abby Oliver in her first match turned in a 58 while Joe Burgin carded a 61 and Jason Little turned in a 66.  The team travels to play Laurens on Wednesday at Woodhaven Park and each looks to improve individually.
