Archbishop Curley defeated Mount St Joseph, 81-65, to complete an undefeated in dual-meet season and clinch sole possesion of the 2008 MIAA A confernce track & field title, yesterday.

Eric Franklin (110HH and 300IH), Jerome Junior (Discus & High Jump) and George Chambers (400 & 200) were all double winners for the Friars, who last won the dual meet championship in 2005.  However, Curley has won the team title at the MIAA Championship Meet the last two years and, if they can add a third consecutive crown in that event, they will become the first team in five years to win the dual meet and championship meet in the same year.
