Buoyed by eight first-place finishes, Gilman School claimed the team crown at the Hill School (PA) relays Saturday. Andrew Nelson won the triple jump relay (43-feet, three inches) and joined Spencer Carter-Carpenter, Bobby Fenwick and Jabulani Blyden on the first-place 440-meter shuttle hurdle relay (1 minute, 14.75 seconds).

The Greyhounds captured top honors in the 400 (46.3; Malik Compton, Blake Countess, Malik Compton, Alex Nichols and Hougenon Attenoukon), 800 (1:35.52; Compton, Countess, Tre Hickey and Kameen) and 1,600 sprint medley (3:46.72; Compton, Sheridan, Kameen and Blyden) relays. Gilman also picked up individual victories from Blyden (300 hurdles, 42.19), Chris Burnette (shot put; 47-3) and Conrad Merkle (pole vault; 11-feet). Gilman accumulated 66 points to beat host school Hill.
