St. Mary's                55
Glenelg Country       47

The Dragons came out strong against MIAA "B" South Division foes St. Mary's to lead by as many as 10 points in the first half. Saint Mary's battled back and cut the lead to 5 going into half time behind the strong play of their senior captains Nick Groce and Trey Quinn.

The score at the half was 33-28. In the third quarter, GCS went ice cold from the floor only scoring 5 points in the period, and the game was tied to begin the fourth. Late in the final quarter, the Saints used their tough half-court man to man defense and excellent foul-shooting to take control.

Glenelg Country was led by senior guard Timmy Schenk who scored 15 points.  6'5'' junior forward Anyars Salih scored 10. 6'6'' freshman forward Isaiah Miles scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, and freshman guard Tre Jordan chipped in 6 points off the bench. St. Mary's senior guard Nick Groce, who has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at UMBC next year, led the Saints with 17 points.

Glenelg Country is now off for the next five days for exams and resumes practice next Saturday. The Dragons will next face Annapolis Area Christian School away on 12/23/08.
