Archbishop Spalding Boys Tennis defeated The Key School 4-1 with victories by #2 singles Joey Henault (6-2, 6-2) and #3 singles Sammy Larson (6-0, 6-1). Spalding # 1 doubles combination of Patrick O'Friel and Benton Davies sealed the victory without dropping a game. Matt Laukatis and Stephen Hartig held off the Key School #2 doubles team to finish the match. Ryan McFarland battled at #1 singles in a heavily contested match before falling (6-4, 6-4).
The Cavaliers followed with a 5-0 win over Indian Creek. Ryan McFarland notched a victory (6-2, 6-2) at the #1 singles spot. Spalding locked up the match with wins by #2 singles Joey Henault (6-0, 6-3) and #3 singles Sammy Larson (6-0, 6-1). Patrick O'Friel and Benton Davies added a win (6-1, 6-1) at #1 doubles and Connor May and Charlie Lane finished the match (7-5, 6-4) holding off a talented Indian Creek #2 doubles combination.
