Aaron Kroll and David Richter competed at the state wrestling meet at Times Union Center in Albany this past weekend. Aaron went 2-2 and was one match from placing in the tournament with some exciting matches! David went 5-1 with 4 pins earning him a third place finish. Along the way, David pinned the defending State Champion electrifying the 8,000 fans in attendance. David's placement is the highest of any Gowanda wrestler at the State meet. He also shattered the school season record wins with a total of 45. Congratulations to both of these athletes, their coaches , and teammates on an exception season!
