Ryan Gates represented Gowanda as part of the Section VI Varsity Boys Bowling team this past weekend in Rochester. Ryan along with new teammates: Tyler Skoczylas, John Stopka, Maurice Davidson, Eric Michalski and Frank Porter were in the lead after 3 of 6 rounds bowled. The team never looked back and remaind 180 pins over the next closest team bringing home first place for Section VI Bowling! This is the first time a Gowanda Athlete was a member of this elite team. Individually Ryan placed 22nd of 60 bowlers at the meet. Congratulations to Ryan, his teammates and coaches on an exciting season.
