09/14/2009 -- Greenfield-Central's boys' varsity cross country team lost to the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles on Monday.

Greenfield was led by Christian Howland, who finished second in 17 minutes, 40 seconds. Not only was that mark a season-best for Howland, it also ranks as the 16th best time since 1997 at the Hancock County school.

Darren Wise also placed fifth.
