The Lady Huskies took on a strong Fallston team and gave them a run for their money on Monday night! The Huskies took the Cougars to 5 games - something that has not occurred all season. The games were tight, close, and hard-fought by both sides.
Here is a breakdown of game scores: Game 1: 25-22 (F) Game 2: 18-25 (P) Game 3: 25-23 (F) Game 4: 23-25 (P) Game 5: 15-13 (F). The Huskies fought hard and never gave up, especially in Game 4 when they were down and fought to come back and win the game.
Standouts for the Huskies were: Caitlin Herman - strong hitting; Haley Jarczynski/Meghan Andrews - great blocking; Katie Allen - solid hits; Monica Negron - consistent sets; Rachel Jirsa/Angela Zalesak - great defense; and, Stephanie Zalesak - excellent serves.
The Huskies should be proud of their accomplishments this season and look forward to representing the Husky Nation well during 1A East Regions which begin for the Huskies on Monday, November 9th, 6:00 pm @ PMHS. They will face the winner of the 1st round regional game: Perryville or Harford Tech. Come on out and support your Huskies!!
